By installing or using the Insight Note Chrome extension ("Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.
2. Eligibility and Compliance
You represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms and will comply with applicable law, platform rules, and third-party website terms while using the Extension.
3. License
Coders Brew LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal or internal business use in accordance with these Terms.
4. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for your own Google Gemini API key, credentials, and related usage charges.
- You must only summarize content you are authorized to process.
- You should avoid submitting confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive data through third-party AI services unless you have a legal basis and necessary permissions.
- You may not use the Extension for unlawful scraping, abuse, security testing without authorization, or interference with third-party systems.
5. Third-Party Services
The Extension relies on third-party services, including Google Gemini APIs. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, including Google's policies.
6. AI Output and No Professional Advice
AI-generated summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. The Extension output is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
7. No Warranty
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODERS BREW LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE EXTENSION.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Coders Brew LLC from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Extension, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Suspension or Termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time. You may stop using the Extension at any time by disabling or uninstalling it.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Extension after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
